Happy Noirvember! In this episode of Chick Flicks, Bridget and McKenzie discuss The Big Sleep (1946) and Brick (2005). Both films follow a brooding hero as he tries to get the bottom of a mystery while navigating the nefarious charms of suspicious dames and the demands of menacing criminals.
The Big Sleep was directed by Howard Hawks and stars Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall.
Brick was directed by Rian Johnson (his first movie) and stars Joseph Gordon Levitt (or Jogo as everyone called him on tumblr in 2010).
