Episode 25: FernGully and Princess Mononoke

In this episode of Chick Flicks, McKenzie and Bridget talk about two animated films that feature bad-ass eco-warrior women and their boyfriends: FernGully and Princess Mononoke. 

FernGully is a terrifying movie from your childhood, directed by Bill Kroyer and starring the vocal talents of Samantha Mathis, Christian Slater, and Robin Williams. Princess Mononoke is a movie by the filmmaker Hiyao Miyazaki. The English dub features the voices of Minnie Driver, Claire Danes, Billy Crudup, and Gillian Anderson.
