For centuries, witches have captured our cultural imaginations. The archetype of the witch can be a friend or a foe, green skinned and angry or bookish and heroic. From The Craft to The Blair Witch, depictions of witches in movies are diverse and complex, but they often touch upon the same themes: female sexuality, age, beauty, and power.
